For our final, send-off dinner from Taiwan we were taken to a Teppanyaki Grill – similar to Hibachi style Japanese places.
The menu is fairly well set.. the only thing you can choose is the type of beef you want and your after dessert drink.

I do NOT like seafood and I don’t like eating strange items that can’t translate well. The dinner was quite good; nothing was bad, most items were just fine but I won’t be seeking much of this out when I get home.
The dinner group was less formal and since I was sitting right next to the chef, I had a chance to take some photos of each plate being served.
Seaweed from Nagasaki, tuna and some jellied crab thing.

Setting up our next dishes; some kind of fish on some kind of mushrooms.

Pork and other sea based edible things.

Eels

Lobsters. They’re fresh – as in we see him slice them and put them on the grill.

He separates the claws, the bodies are steam for extra time with some leaves and a pile of salt.

This is the steak that I ordered. 4oz of USDA with garlic cream sauce and special black salt from Hawaii.

Seahorse soup.

Coffee with a strange dessert. We also had appetizers (you pick out, they’re not cooked on the Teppan) and plenty of wine, rice and other side dishes.
