With perfect weather on the schedule, we decided to go camping at a location Brian and Phuong have previously visited (but not camped). It’s about a 2 hour drive from Boise, located nearish to Twin Falls.
The place is free and first-come first-served. On a Monday we just about had the campgrounds to ourselves. B&P have a rooftop tent they set up for their sleeping spot.

Then lots of play time in the afternoon in the shade.
Using Brian’s inflatable kayak, we could paddle upstream to explore the canyon better.

Come dinner time we do not suffer. Brenda has put a lot of time and thought into the right gear (and ingredients) to make wonderful camping dinners.

Brian also knows how to entertain.. at night he set up a small projector and sound bar so that we could watch a movie by campfire light.
