Singapore 102925

Most of today was dedicated to travel.. we took a flight from Hong Kong and headed a bit west and a lot further south to the island nation of Singapore.  This is our first time here and we’re eager to see what all the fuss is about.
We got it quite late yesterday evening – just time to get checked in our room, get a late night meal and collapse from another day of poor and irregular sleep.  We’ll probably get adjusted to the time difference just as we’re preparing to fly home.

Photos below are from Hong Kong.. yesterday morning, before we needed to leave for the airport, we had some time to wander through some streets of the oldest part of Hong Kong.  Most are in B&W as I was fiddling around with some of the settings just to shake things up.

Brenda on the escalators heading down to the subway station.

Man Mo Temple – the oldest Buddhist temple in Hong Kong (built in the 1850s) on Hollywood street – which was the first street the British set up after staking claim to the island in 1841.

Tai Chi in the park.
