This was the first day of the trade show but it didn’t start until just before lunch time. The weather turned dark and heavily overcast… it never rained but always acted like it was about to.

That gave Brenda and I a chance to walk the streets of Kowloon Bay and find some shops that sold industrial kitchenware (Brenda is always on the hunt for deals on ladles and teabag holders) as well as Asian-centric sunscreen and other skin creams that one can’t purchase in the U.S. I spent the afternoon at the show walking the aisles until my feet couldn’t take any more walking. I then retreated to the hotel room for another late afternoon nap. I have drinks and dinners this evening with clients and so need to try and charge up my battery as best as is possible.

The shots below are just street scene stuff during our morning walkabout.

This building is the convention hall where the trade show is being held.

Our hotel is in the background – the Conrad.
