Some final shots from our last day in Germany.  We fly home tomorrow morning.
I’ve been working the past 3 days, mostly at the big Light + Build trade show, plus dinners out each night with customers and/or employees.  Brenda came out on two of the 3 nights and charmed them all.

The Frankfurt Messe – where the big show is.. There are actually 12 buildings of this size all interconnected.. the place is huge and can’t be seen in one week.  I walked the show for 2 days and only saw halls 3, 4, 8 and 10 with any degree of thoroughness.

Our final free day before coming home.  Brenda wanted to hit the Zoo and then the Art Gallery.  Photos from both follow…

This was our favorite painting at the Städel Museum, their main gallery for prominent European art from the middle ages to present.  ‘Ein Seesturm an der norwegischen Küste’ by Andreas Achenbach, 1837.

Walking back to our hotel to take a nap after lunch.. then start the packing.
