Near our house is East Beach (on St Simons) that allows off leash dog walks.  We spent A LOT of time on that beach.  Winston never turned down an offer to return.

There are several state parks and hiking trails on the island.

Bella had the day off (Presidents Day) and so drove down to eat lunch with us.  Afterwards, the girls went off shopping at several, large thrift stores and brought back all sorts of treasures.

During this trip, we had two cars for the 7 of us.  Josie and her two friends were able to manage their own schedule.  We would occasionally meet up for meals, but largely we operated as two separate units.  Everyone was VERY happy with the arrangements.  No one likes to work by my schedules!
