We stopped in Midland to tour the “1880 Town” and it was worth the time. What started out as a movie set in the early 1970’s has developed into a full town of authentic buildings from the 1880s-1910s.
The weather was perfect, the entire site dog friendly, and lots of opportunities with folks carrying cameras.

The nearby gas station and Quick-E-Mart.. with three goats chilling out front because, why not?
